Although I have visited 15 countries (and counting), I realized through living in the US, England and South Korea, that slow travel is my favourite way of travelling.

Who is the SlowTravelista?

Hello and welcome!
My name is Angela and I am what my grandma calls a "Reisefüdli" (Swiss German for = travel + butt).

I love travelling and exploring the world but I'm also a big fan of other things (one of them being dad jokes if you know a good one leave it here).

Come and find out what makes me... well me!

What is Slow Travel?

Slow travel is a term that has been used to refer to a more sustainable way of travelling and is an alternative to mainstream mass tourism.

A big focus of slow travel is also the immersion into the local culture. Slow travel, sometimes also called immersive travel, is what TheSlowTravelista is all about.
